Max Wax Live, Vol. 92

“THIS IS A TEST… THIS IS ONLY A TEST”

This show was originally a test to check the performance capabilities of me doing a live show with digital music, rather than vinyl. The reason I’m exploring this is so I can offer shows with the new stuff I’ve been filling my head with, but don’t yet have to throw on the turntables. What started as a test turned into a full hour show with some awesome tracks in the ambient rock/metal and new rock categories. Check it out!

Max Wax Live, Vol. 90, Pt. 2 w/ Guest Host Bill Fultz

This one’s Part 2 of a really fun show, with my good friend Bill Fultz of Fultz Fotos joining me for a brand new edition of Max Wax Live! Bill is highly sought after, as one of the top landscape photographers in Kentucky/Ohio, and the creator of the Kentucky Waterfalls, Arches and Landscapes group. And you have to go check his page and see his work. Mind blowing. We’ll be spinning records from Bill’s personal record collection and chatting about music, his photography, the Kentucky Waterfalls, Arches and Landscapes group, Arch Awareness, Kentucky Art Mine and whatever else tickles our fancy!

Special Guest Co-Host – Joel Signoretti

It’s a brand new episode of Max Wax, with guest host Joel Signoretti! Joel’s not only a shredder of the guitar, a slinger of the records over in The Vinyl Cut-Live Auction & Sales page, and a killer friend, he also knows his music better than most. He’s picked a playlist from the Trendkill record stash that will take us through two heavy riff-fueled hours, full of tunes and tales of life. Recorded live from the KTFT Studio, 3/3/21.

Max Wax, Vol. 87

The image says it all. I’m pulling and spinning records that fit a day like this. This journey starts off with some Sabbath in Jazz form, heads into some Blues, picks up steam w/ some acoustic stuff from a Hank Sr. cover to some MTV Unplugged gems and I close the show out the way this day’s closing out… heavy. Tune in! It’s LIVE VINYL (you know… like the old days.)

Max Wax, Vol. 85

I don’t even know what I’m playing, but promise it will be a journey through some heavy music that you probably haven’t heard, before. Come take a trip with me. It’s live, it’s off the cuff and it’s totally possible it will all go wrong, and people love watching train wrecks, right? Freak show… this way. Originally aired: January 20, 2021.

Tracks from: Jazz Dispensary, Desert Sessions, Kylesa, Graveyard, The Atomic Bitchwax, Crippled Black Phoenix, Pinkish Black, The Budos Band.

Max Wax Live, Vol. 84

Mack is hitting the Trendkill decks LIVE… and is bringing a stack of wax that includes some of his favorites from 2020. From Arlo McKinley to Sturgill Simpson… from Deftones to Sevendust… and back to Foxy Shazam and The Harmed Brothers… we’re bringing a lil’ something for everyone.

Max Wax, Vol. 83, w/ guest host Walter DeBarr

This show was recorded LIVE on-air and Mack was joined on the phone by the incomparable Walter DeBarr Music. We launched the Trendkill debut of Walter’s new single, “Blackened” and the entire show was curated by WD, then spun live from vinyl in the Trendkill Studio. The first of many guests this year, from all over the music universe. You don’t want to miss it!

Max Wax, Vol. 25

Rare Led Zeppelin Tracks

Originally aired in 2016, this episode of Max Wax has Mack dialing into some rare studio tracks, demos and other unheard material from the wizards of rock, Led Zeppelin.

Max Wax, Ep. 83, with Alex Salcido

So, what happens when a talented musician stops over, picks a handful of records and we spend an hour spinning and talking shop? Find out tonight, when Alex Salcido of The Harmed Brothers comes in and we get down to some tunes from Elliot Smith, Whiskeytown, The Boss, Bob Dylan and a whole lot more. Plus, he sheds a little insight into what’s coming this year. Dig it. www.theharmedbrothers.com
